welcome to your last batch of brainsparks in 2023, the nexialist
hey you! i hope this message reaches you in a festive moment. here in the netherlands, they call the last day of the year oudejaarsdag, or old year day. i think it’s such a nice way to reframe this date, and instead of rushing to the new year and its resolutions, to look back to see how our year went, the nice things we did/achieved, and also the not-so-nice ones. so i’ll be taking some time to do that these days.
this is the end of year 3 and the start of year 4 of the nexialist, which is just insane to think about. this project is one of my biggest treasures, which i nurture every week. it became a way for me to keep finding content, online and offline, making connections with ideas and people, thinking critically of the world around me, and developing vocabulary to better understand the fast-changing world around me. so thank you again for sticking around, reading, learning, sharing and donating. here is the flashback 2023 pt.i in case you missed it. enjoy and happy new year! 🥂✨

🔌Let’s Collab?
I truly believe innovation comes from bringing improbable areas together, and that’s why I called this project The Nexialist. Some sectors are known to be self-referencing and hermetic. Sometimes teams are on autopilot mode, focused on the daily grind, which hinders innovation. As a Nexialist, I like to burst these bubbles, bringing references from different areas, and maintaining teams inspired and connected to the Zeitgeist.
I offer inspiration sessions called Brainsparks, creative desk research (Zeitgeist Boost), Plug’n’Play deals for workshops and sprints, and other bespoke formats. If you want to know more about this, send me an e-mail with your challenge(s) and we can figure something out together. Check out my website and some work I’ve done below:
